Our client’s Orleans home is a beautiful study in light and airy design, filled with soft neutrals and natural sunlight. But for her main floor powder room, she envisioned something different. She wanted a delightful surprise for guests and a space that packed a dramatic, moody punch, acting as a sophisticated counterpoint to the rest of the home’s bright aesthetic.

We answered the call for drama by embracing a rich, layered design. Classic white paneling grounds the room, providing a crisp base for the deep, ink-black walls above. The dark colour creates an immediate sense of intimacy and elegance. Underfoot, a bold black and white patterned tile adds a touch of playful charm, while gold accents -from the modern faucet to the delicate sconce lighting - act like jewelry against the dark backdrop, adding warmth and a touch of luxury.

It’s a testament to our belief that every space, no matter its size, is an opportunity to create something truly special. This moody and elegant powder room now offers a memorable and dramatic moment for family and guests, proving that even in the brightest of homes, there’s always room for a little drama.
